An invitation is extended to all patients, coaches, parents, trainers and interested participants to attend an information and practical course for sports taping techniques and acute injury assessment / management.
The session will provide skills for taping for
1. Ankle – acute ligament sprains and Achilles pain
2. Knee – patella and anterior knee pain (Osgood Schlatters)
3. Thumb – acute sprain and hyperextension injury
4. Shoulder – Scapula stabilization and shoulder support
Additional info will be presented on how to support and treat acute injuries on the sporting field or during any form of physical activities.
All course participants will receive practical guidance for each taping and will be supplied with an information pack including rolls of tape, USB containing video footage and explanations of all taping techniques, a written hand-out and access to sports physiotherapy based ideas.
